What's New
FIFO/ LIFO (Cost Layer Extension) ✨
Cost Layers just got two new costing modes. Since Cost Layers launched, businesses could choose Last Purchase or Average cost accounting. Now you can also choose FIFO (First In, First Out) or LIFO (Last In, First Out) — and set the mode per material, not just for your whole warehouse.
How to use it:
- Go to a material's detail page and open Cost Settings
- Select FIFO or LIFO as the cost mode for that material
- Open Cost Layers on the material to see exactly what each layer of on-hand inventory cost you, and which layer was consumed on a given transaction
Web: Dark Mode 🌚
One of our most popular feature requests is now here: Ply's web app now supports dark mode.
How to use it:
- Find the "sun" button on upper right hand corner
- Toggle "Dark Mode" on
Payments (Beta) 💵
Payments beta members can now pay supplier invoices directly in Ply using ACH or Plaid! Enjoy seamless payment tracking without digging through your inbox:
Ply automatically highlights upcoming due dates to help you prioritize urgent bills, while customizable payment roles and approval policies keep your team compliant and secure.

Service Fusion Integration ✨
Ply now integrates directly with Service Fusion. Sync work orders, materials, and job data between the two systems without manual re-entry.
How to use it:
- Go to Settings → Integrations
- Connect your Service Fusion account
- Map your Service Fusion jobs and materials to Ply
Improvements
- Purchase order cards in Rolling Replenishment now show which truck or location the PO is sourcing for, so you can tell at a glance where the inventory is headed. Pending PO Indicator Now Shows on All Stock Inventory Items
- Source Truck/Location on PO Cards in Rolling Replenishment
- The pending PO indicator used to appear only on Low Stock items. It now shows on every item in Stock Inventory that has a PO on the way.
