    Supplier Price - Export

When exporting to an excel, be able to choose supplier pricing as well. This will be easier for my suppliers to update pricing.

  2. 1

Create a QuickBooks bill for each partial receipt (multiple bills per PO)

Many suppliers progress-invoice: they bill for each shipment as it goes out instead of waiting until the whole order is delivered. Right now, Ply only creates a QuickBooks bill automatically when a PO is fully received. Partial receipts don't generate a bill, so any shipment billed before the PO is complete has to be entered manually in QuickBooks. Example: a supplier ships 1 of 6 parts on a PO and invoices for that one part right away. The remaining 5 parts may not arrive for weeks. The bill for the first part needs to exist in QuickBooks now so it can be paid on time, but Ply won't create it until the PO is fully received. Requested behavior: When a PO is partially received and reconciled in Ply, create a QuickBooks bill for just the quantities reconciled in that receipt. Allow multiple bills to be linked to the same PO, one per partial receipt, until the PO is fully received. Keep the PO open in QuickBooks until all quantities are received and billed. Make it optional via a setting (for example, "Create a bill on each partial receipt"), so companies that prefer one bill per PO keep the current behavior. Why it matters: Without this, teams working with progress-invoicing suppliers have to duplicate work between Ply and QuickBooks for almost every PO, which defeats the purpose of the integration. This affects any business whose suppliers ship and invoice in multiple batches.

Show Equipment on the Supplier Details page

The supplier details page only lists linked Materials. Equipment items that have that supplier under Prices & Suppliers don't appear there. The customer is linking supplier part #s and costs across both Materials and Equipment and expects to see everything tied to a supplier in one place.

Assign to Me / Unassign Me from the mobile scanner for Tech role

Customer s testing tool check-out and check-in with a Tech account on iOS 1.8.10 (build 870), with View and Transfer permission on the warehouse. Techs can already use Assign to Me and Unassign Me from any location's Tools tab. But when they scan a tool's barcode, the View Tool screen only shows details, Print Barcode, and Write NFC tag, with no option to assign. To check a tool out by scanning, the tech has to scan, Add to List, open the list, move it to their truck, save, then go to the truck's Tools tab and tap Assign to Me. Checking it back in means reversing all of those steps. The request is to add Assign to Me and Unassign Me to the scanner's View Tool screen for the Tech role, so a tool can be checked out and back in with a single scan. A nice-to-have would be a combined "check out to my truck" action that transfers and assigns in one step. This matters because the customer already put barcodes on their tools expecting scan-based check-out, and it's part of what they're evaluating before rolling Ply out to their techs.

Add items from Catalog folders to an existing PO

Customer organizes materials in Catalog folders so his team can find items quickly. Today, the only way to use folders for purchasing is Catalog > folder > select items > Create PO, which always creates a new PO. There's no way to use folders to add items to a PO that's already open. Requested: From a Catalog folder, allow selecting items and appending them to an existing open/draft PO (e.g., an "Add to existing PO" option in the bulk action bar, with a PO picker). Inside a PO, allow browsing or filtering by folder in the Add More Items flow, not only searching by item name or UPC.

  6. 1

Move existing folders into other folders (Catalog)

A customer (Mike) wants to group existing folders under a new parent folder, e.g. move "1/2" Fittings" and "3/4" Fittings" into a new "Fittings" folder. Current behavior: the folder ยทยทยท menu only has Rename Folder and Delete Folder. The only workaround is to create new subfolders inside the parent, move all materials over manually, and delete the old folders. Request: add a "Move folder" option so customers can reorganize without rebuilding their folder structure.

Vendor/Materials-based filtering for Rolling Replenishment Orders

Request: Add the ability to filter/tag products on rolling replenishment orders so that only items relevant to the vendor the order is being placed with are included. Currently, all products can appear on the order regardless of vendor relevance, requiring manual cleanup. Suggested solution: A tag or filter option tied to vendor that automatically excludes non-relevant products from the rolling replenishment order. Current workaround: Setting the automatic PO to stay in draft (not auto-send), so the customer can manually edit/remove irrelevant items before sending.

ServiceTitan PO Sync: Business Unit Selection at PO Creation

When auto-sync to ServiceTitan is enabled, customers can only set one default Business Unit, which doesn't work for companies that route POs to multiple BUs (e.g. Cardinal, HL, C&D). Current workaround is to turn off auto-sync and manually select the BU each time. Request: Add a dynamic Business Unit selection field at the time of PO creation, visible only when the customer is linked to ServiceTitan. When auto-sync is enabled and the PO is reconciled, it should auto-send to the selected BU. Confirmed by Darion, Anabel, and Andrii as the right approach.

Carry Over Quantities When Creating a PO Directly from a Job

When creating a Purchase Order directly from a job in Ply, the materials are carried over correctly, but the quantities are not; they default to blank or zero, requiring the user to manually re-enter each quantity. Expected Behavior: The quantities assigned to each material on the job should automatically carry over to the corresponding line items when a PO is created from that job; mirroring the same logic already applied to materials. Why This Matters: This gap adds unnecessary manual work, especially for teams managing jobs with multiple line items. Having quantities auto-populate would significantly speed up the PO creation workflow and reduce the risk of ordering errors.

Report For Combined Total Inventory Value Across All Stock Locations

Iโ€™m requesting a report in Ply that shows total inventory value across all stock locations, with support for both current inventory value and historical value by date. Right now, inventory valuation reporting is limited to one stock location at a time. To get an โ€œall locationsโ€ total, I have to either manually add each locationโ€™s total business cost, or export each locationโ€™s report to Excel, combine the files, and sum the totals - which is time-consuming and increases the risk of errors. What Iโ€™d like to see: A report (or filter option) to aggregate all stock locations into a single total Ability to select a specific date to view the total inventory value as of that date (historical snapshot) A clear Total Business Cost value at the workspace level (all locations combined) Optional export (Excel/CSV) of the aggregated total This would make inventory valuation much faster for accounting, month-end close, and audits.

When searching in a warehouse estimate and selecting material i can not see a price for all material added together.

I would like to see the prices for all the material i select with a total. This would be great when doing estimates. Example: As a tech in the field i need to get all my material list priced before job is sold. On every job we give 3 options so we have 3 different material list for our options. Once we get our material and hours we can price the estimate. As of right now the tech can make a field request but cant see any pricing so the plat form is useless to us if we cant see pricing.(We can see the price of one material item at a time) A bonus feature would to be able to save material list so if estimate is approve we could reorder of a click of a button. How we do this now on another website is we select all the material to our shopping cart write down the total. Then do this 2 more times to get a total of 3 options. Now we have a material pricing and we add it to our time to the job to give the price for our job. once an option is sold we can order material.

Allow Selecting Specific Supplier Contact(s) When Sending an RFQ

When sending an RFQ to a supplier, the system only sends the request to that supplier's primary contact and email. If a supplier has multiple contacts (e.g., a general contact, an AP/accounting contact, or a specific department), there's no way to choose which one(s) should receive the RFQ. When sending an RFQ, allow the user to select the supplier's primary contact (unchanged) and choose one or more additional associated contacts to send the RFQ to without modifying the supplier's stored primary contact record.

Show Who Counted Each Item on the Inventory Count Page

Problem: When an item's quantity doesn't change during a cycle count, no activity log entry is created for it. This means there's no way to see who counted or verified that item not for the client, and not for our side once the count has been initiated. Current Behavior: Only the user assigned to the inventory count can change the qty. However, once the count is initiated, the user assigned to the count isn't visible Requested Behavior: Display which user counted each item directly on the inventory count page (in case several users were assigned to do the task), regardless of whether the quantity changed. This would give the client visibility into count activity without relying on activity log entries tied to quantity changes.

WEX Integration: Push Ply Materials to WEX as Line Items with Tiered Flat Rate Labor Time

: The customer uses WEX as their dispatching, flat rate pricing, billing, and invoicing platform. They manage flat rate price books for service, plumbing, and electrical crews where each part or fitting has a specific labor time associated โ€” including tiered labor time (e.g. 37 min for the first fitting, 10-15 min for each additional add-on fitting), similar to how Profit Rhino works. All billing and invoicing is handled in WEX. Currently there is no way to connect material usage in Ply to WEX line items, which would require manual re-entry and defeats the purpose of the integration. Requested functionality: Ability to select a material in Ply and push it directly as a line item into WEX with the associated labor time Support for tiered labor time per material (initial task time vs. add-on task time for the same fitting) Ply to act as the inventory layer while WEX handles billing and dispatching The customer is currently using Ply purely for inventory management and is waiting on this integration to fully connect both workflows.

    Save Field Requests as Drafts

Our technicians need the ability to save field requests as drafts so they can add materials throughout the day before final submission. Currently, technicians either: Submit a new field request after each job (resulting in multiple requests per day per technician), or Edit submitted requests while they remain in โ€œpendingโ€ status However, the second option is not reliable because our team processes field requests quickly, meaning requests often move out of โ€œpendingโ€ before technicians can make updates. We have considered a workaround where technicians leave a note in the field request asking our team to keep a request in โ€œpendingโ€ while they continue adding materials. With over 100 technicians, this approach is difficult to track and inefficient for our team. Requested Solution: The ability to save field requests as drafts to allows technicians to: Create and update a field request throughout the day before it's sent out Submit the request only when it is complete This would reduce the number of requests submitted, improve accuracy, and streamline workflows for both technicians and our internal warehouse team.

Ability to generate a PO number before adding line items (auto-generate on PO creation)

Request: Customer needs a PO number to be available at the moment a PO is created, before any materials/line items are added. In their workflow, techs go to the supply house first and need a PO number to give them on the spot โ€” they don't yet know which materials they'll be purchasing. The current PO Number Format setting (Settings > Procurement > Purchasing Settings) only generates a number once the PO already has content, which doesn't fit this use case. As a workaround, if they create the PO first and later attach the packing slip, the packing slip is saved as a plain attachment and the AI/OCR does not extract data from it โ€” data extraction only works when the packing slip is used to create the PO from scratch. Customer suggested allowing a placeholder/dummy line item to be added just to generate the PO number, while still allowing the AI to extract full data from an uploaded packing slip image afterward (instead of it becoming a plain attachment).

Company logo branding (uploaded via Settings > Company & Billing > Company tab) currently applies to Purchase Order PDFs and other account documents but does not carry over to RFQ share PDFs/links sent to suppliers. Requesting this be revisited: customers expect their own branding on RFQ documents shared with suppliers (as they get with POs), and the current inconsistency creates a mismatched, unprofessional experience for suppliers who receive an RFQ from a customer but see the Ply logo (or no logo) instead of the customer's own.

Option to Disable Automatic Business Cost Update from PO Reconciliation

Currently, every time a Purchase Order is received and reconciled in Ply, the business cost of the material in the catalog is automatically updated based on the last purchasing cost. There is no way to disable this behavior. We'd like the ability to lock or disable automatic business cost updates triggered by PO reconciliation, so that business costs in the catalog can only be updated manually by the user. This would give businesses more control over their pricing and avoid unintended cost changes driven by fluctuating PO prices. Use case: Customer wants to maintain stable business costs in their catalog and only update them intentionally, without PO reconciliation overwriting them automatically.
