Submit IdeaMatch multiple invoices to a single PO in 3-Way Match (split and partial shipments)
Problem When a supplier ships a PO in multiple deliveries (because of material availability or backorders), they often send a separate invoice for each shipment, days apart. 3-Way Match only takes one invoice per match, and once a match has been started, more invoices can’t be added to it. Teams have no clean way to reconcile the full PO. Current behavior Each match accepts one invoice file against one PO. A later invoice for the same PO can’t be added to an existing match. Bulk invoice upload (up to 50 PDFs) matches each invoice to its own PO. It doesn’t group several invoices under one PO. Requested behavior Upload two or more separate invoice files (PDF, JPEG, PNG) and match all of them to the same PO. Add new invoices to an ongoing match as they arrive, without creating a new PO. Show the combined invoiced qty and price per line against the PO and the receipt. Flag lines that are still waiting on an invoice. Use case A multi-location service company. Several POs at one location were split by the vendor into multiple invoices that arrived over different days.

Show Backordered Items on PO Without Needing to Enter Reconciliation
Request: Add a way to see which items on a PO are backordered directly from the PO view itself (a "quick look"), without having to go into the reconciliation flow to find out. Context: Customer had a PO marked as "Partially Received" and had to go into reconciliation to discover which 2 specific materials were still backordered. He noted it would be more convenient to see backordered items at a glance from the PO itself.

Create a QuickBooks bill for each partial receipt (multiple bills per PO)
Many suppliers progress-invoice: they bill for each shipment as it goes out instead of waiting until the whole order is delivered. Right now, Ply only creates a QuickBooks bill automatically when a PO is fully received. Partial receipts don't generate a bill, so any shipment billed before the PO is complete has to be entered manually in QuickBooks. Example: a supplier ships 1 of 6 parts on a PO and invoices for that one part right away. The remaining 5 parts may not arrive for weeks. The bill for the first part needs to exist in QuickBooks now so it can be paid on time, but Ply won't create it until the PO is fully received. Requested behavior: When a PO is partially received and reconciled in Ply, create a QuickBooks bill for just the quantities reconciled in that receipt. Allow multiple bills to be linked to the same PO, one per partial receipt, until the PO is fully received. Keep the PO open in QuickBooks until all quantities are received and billed. Make it optional via a setting (for example, "Create a bill on each partial receipt"), so companies that prefer one bill per PO keep the current behavior. Why it matters: Without this, teams working with progress-invoicing suppliers have to duplicate work between Ply and QuickBooks for almost every PO, which defeats the purpose of the integration. This affects any business whose suppliers ship and invoice in multiple batches.

Don’t deduct inventory from FSM jobs or segments that get canceled
Description: When a job or segment is canceled in the FSM (Housecall Pro), Ply marks it as Finished and keeps any materials it synced to that job, so the stock stays deducted from the source location. Use case: Some teams reopen older jobs and create temporary segments only to handle invoices or rebates, then cancel them. These segments aren’t real work, but because they’re new they pass the “Ignore jobs created before” cutoff, sync into Ply with their materials, and reduce inventory. Today there’s no setting to prevent this: “Sync Items Only When Specific Job Status Reached” doesn’t skip canceled jobs. Requested behavior (either option would solve it): Ignore canceled jobs/segments: if a job is canceled in the FSM, Ply doesn’t apply its materials to inventory. Return materials on cancel: when a job is canceled in the FSM, Ply automatically returns its materials to the location they came from and logs it in the job activity. Nice to have: a toggle in the FSM integration settings so each company can choose whether canceled jobs affect inventory.

During Reconciliation, be able to recognize that a different unit than what was ordered was received, and reconcile into catalog
Description: When an integrated supplier ships a different item than the one ordered, there’s currently no way to reflect that on the original PO. Once the order is confirmed by the supplier, Edit is disabled and the status can’t be rolled back. The only option is to mark the original line as “No Materials” and handle the substitute outside the PO. Customers would like to replace the ordered line with the item that actually arrived (or add it as a new line) during receiving. That way the PO, stock and cost match what was physically delivered, and the substitute can be returned through Returns if needed, since Returns requires the item to be on the PO and reconciled to a location.

Pick List Position Sorting
It would be helpful and boost efficiency to have PickLists sortable by Position. Currently Picklists are arranged by how items are added to them and there is no option to sort items. We can painstakingly add items in order of shelf position when creating new lists, but this is not efficient. When creating PickLists from field requests, they are simply in the order that our Technicians randomly add items. Being able to sort Pick Lists by position would add efficiency and accuracy when pulling these.

Streamline how users add missing PO details (ship-to, need-by date) for Punchout POs
Description: When a PO is created through Ply Punchout, the materials come in, but details like the ship-to location and need-by date aren’t filled in. The system correctly requires this information before the status can be changed, but completing it takes several extra steps: the user has to close the warning, go back to the PO action menu, edit and save the PO, and then try changing the status again. Why it matters: The requirement itself makes sense; the friction comes from the number of steps it takes to meet it. Making it clear from the beginning what’s needed, or letting users complete it right where the system flags it, would make the purchasing workflow smoother, especially for teams that rely on Punchout to create POs. Video for example: https://onedrive.live.com/embed?cid=48c07893b06a1e6e&id=48C07893B06A1E6E!sf8be96aaae654edf913b36c13e9ae15b&resid=48C07893B06A1E6E!sf8be96aaae654edf913b36c13e9ae15b&ithint=video,mp4&embed=1&migratedtospo=true&redeem=aHR0cHM6Ly8xZHJ2Lm1zL3YvYy80OGMwNzg5M2IwNmExZTZlL0lRU3Fscjc0WmE3ZlRwRTdOc0UtbXVGYkFkR1JRYkRfeW5wUV9mWGZ2dnJSM01v

Skip canceled or temporary FSM segments in inventory sync
When a job or segment is canceled in Housecall Pro, Ply marks it as Finished and keeps the materials it synced, deducting stock. Some customers create temporary segments on old jobs only to generate an invoice or a rebate claim, load materials manually, and then cancel them. The materials were already used on the original job, so the segment double-deducts inventory. The cutoff date doesn’t prevent this: each HCP segment has its own creation date, so a new segment on a pre-cutoff job passes the filter. “Sync Items Only When Specific Job Status Reached” doesn’t help either, because Canceled ranks above every other status. Possible solutions: (1) skip canceled jobs/segments that never reached Completed, (2) return materials to the source location automatically when a job is canceled, or (3) let customers exclude jobs by a tag or job type in HCP.

Ability to upload multiple images or files at once to a PO
Users can only attach one image at a time to a Purchase Order. From the PO, they click the three dots > Upload Vendor Ticket > Images, select and upload the image, and then have to click the three dots again to repeat the process for each additional image. Request: allow selecting and uploading multiple images or files in a single action when attaching it to a PO.

Show on the PO and the job when an item has been returned or has a warranty claim
Today, when an item from a PO or Job is returned or has a warranty claim opened against it, nothing on the original PO or on the job shows it. The records live in the Returns and Warranty tabs, and the only way to find them is to already know they exist and search by part. What the customer wants to see: On the original PO: an indicator on the line item (or on the PO) that a return or a warranty claim exists against it, with a link to that record. On the job: the same indicator for items from that job that were returned or claimed, so the returned and claimed items are visible alongside the rest of the job’s materials.

Show When an Item Is Already on a PO in the Mobile App
Currently, users can only see whether an item has already been ordered through the web. In the mobile app: The Replenishment List does not show the option to filter items that are already on a PO. When creating a PO from scratch, users cannot see which items are already included in another PO. When navigating Stock in the mobile app, materials don't indicate whether a PO has already been created for them. Use case: The customer scans materials first and then creates the PO. During this process, there is no way to check whether those materials have already been ordered, which can lead to duplicate orders. Request: Add the ability to see whether an item is already included in a PO in the mobile app, including a notification when scanning an item that indicates which PO it's already included in.

Scheduled daily email delivery of Inventory Usage report across multiple locations
The customer wants an automated daily usage report covering all of their plumbing van locations, delivered by email to a specific address. What’s possible today: Inventory Usage is scoped to one location at a time (Reports → Inventory Usage), with a month or custom date range filter, and the data has to be pulled manually through Export as… The export returns material name, variation, item number, action type, reason type, date, quantity, business and client cost (per item and total), and user name. It does not include a location column, since the report is already scoped to the selected location.

Add a “Visit Ply Shop” card (link to shop.getply.com) on the Settings > Help page
Summary Add a new card on Settings > Help that links to the Ply e-commerce site (https://shop.getply.com), alongside the existing Help Center, Chat with Support and YouTube Channel cards. Current behavior The Help page only has three cards: Help Center, Chat with Support and Visit our YouTube Channel. There’s no in-app entry point to the Ply shop, so customers have to find the URL elsewhere when they need hardware (tags, scanners, etc.). Proposed behavior Add a fourth card, same style as the others: Title: “Ply Shop” Description: “Need hardware or supplies? Visit our online store to order directly.” Button: “Visit Shop” (opens shop.getply.com in a new tab) Why it matters Customers regularly ask Support where to buy hardware, and an in-app link answers that without a ticket. It gives a visible, low-effort path to the store from where users already go for help. It’s a small UI change that reuses the existing card component.

Allow users with Manager, Admin, Member, and Owner roles to create Field Requests directly from the mobile app
Current behavior: Currently, Field Requests can only be created from the mobile app by users with the Technician role. Users with Manager, Admin, Member, or Owner roles can create Field Requests from the web app, but not from the mobile app. Request: The customer would like their Manager to be able to create Field Requests from the mobile app as well.
