  1. Option to Hide the Metrics Ribbon on the Mobile App

Make it possible to hide or remove the ribbon of metrics added at the top of the screen in the mobile app, or make it optional.

  2. Filter the Dashboard by a specific warehouse or location

Problem Customers with more than one location can't see Dashboard data for a single warehouse. The Dashboard always combines all locations, so it's hard to track how one warehouse is doing. Current Behavior The Dashboard can be customized to choose which features or widgets are shown. All Dashboard data includes every location in the account combined (warehouses and trucks). There's no option to filter or set the Dashboard to one location. The only workaround is to open each warehouse from Stock > Warehouses, which doesn't show the same overview as the Dashboard. Requested Behavior Add a location filter on the Dashboard so users can choose one or more specific warehouses or trucks. Ideally, save the selected location as the user's default view, so it loads automatically each time.

  3. Draft Picklists in Ply with Product Cost

We really need to be able to create a draft pick list for job being bid out. If we get the job, the warehouse knows what the estimator needs for the job and can move it directly into the ordering/picking queue. We also need to be able to see the TOTAL business cost of the items in the draft pick list so that estimating can use Ply to help them with quote development.

  4. Filter Materials by Price

This would be helpful especially in identifying materials with $0 price and getting those updated. Also, bad syncs from HCP can come in with a $0 price. It's just a useful way to audit the materials list without scrolling through every page.

  5. Pick List Position Sorting

It would be helpful and boost efficiency to have PickLists sortable by Position. Currently Picklists are arranged by how items are added to them and there is no option to sort items. We can painstakingly add items in order of shelf position when creating new lists, but this is not efficient. When creating PickLists from field requests, they are simply in the order that our Technicians randomly add items. Being able to sort Pick Lists by position would add efficiency and accuracy when pulling these.

  6. Locked/Permissioned Truck Inventory Templates & Template-Based Inventory Controls

Problem: Truck inventory templates represent the approved item list and quantities for each truck. Right now, users who shouldnโ€™t be making changes can still modify templates, and items outside a truckโ€™s template can still end up on that truck through purchasing, picking, or transfers. Current Behavior: ๐ŸŸก Users with general inventory access can edit truck templates, and Ply doesnโ€™t check incoming items against the truckโ€™s assigned template. Requested Behavior: Template permissions: the ability to lock templates or restrict editing to specific roles/users, so the approved item list and quantities canโ€™t be changed without authorization. Template enforcement: controls that flag or block an item from being purchased, picked, transferred, or otherwise added to a truck when it isnโ€™t on that truckโ€™s assigned template/type. Ideally configurable as either a warning or a hard block. Business Impact: Makes the template the enforced inventory standard. This reduces unauthorized stock on trucks, overstocking, and shrinkage, and keeps truck inventory consistent across the fleet.

  7. Show Backordered Items on PO Without Needing to Enter Reconciliation

Request: Add a way to see which items on a PO are backordered directly from the PO view itself (a "quick look"), without having to go into the reconciliation flow to find out. Context: Customer had a PO marked as "Partially Received" and had to go into reconciliation to discover which 2 specific materials were still backordered. He noted it would be more convenient to see backordered items at a glance from the PO itself.

  8. Ability to Apply Preferred Supplier POs With Items That Have Different Preferred Suppliers

Request: Add the ability to apply preferred suppliers to a PO that contains items with different preferred suppliers, so each item can go to its own PO/preferred supplier. Context / Use case: Today, when editing a PO in the Draft section, the only option is to change the supplier to a different one. When the items on a PO have different preferred suppliers, the customer has to duplicate the PO to apply the preferred suppliers, and then delete the first one. The customer wants to apply the preferred suppliers directly from the draft PO, without duplicating and deleting POs.

  9. Longer list timing

It would be nice to have the "list" option last up to 12 hours (even with exiting out of the camera) so users can accumulate the list as they go before putting in a PO or RFQ at the end of their shift. This would make it easier for the users so they don't have to go through multiple buttons to add one inventory items at a time on a PO. Instead they can scan the barcode and save it as they go.

  10. Add Tool Requests into the Field Requests portion

Adding a section in the Field Requests to request tools would be a very helpful feature. Our plumber's often need expensive and specialized tools temporarily on the job site. This would help speed up the field requests and make our delivery routes smoother.

  11. Ply MCP Server for Claude Integration

The client has requested the ability to connect Ply with Claude AI via an MCP (Model Context Protocol) server. This would allow them to interact with their Ply data directly through Claude. Use Case: Primarily analytics โ€” the client wants to use Claude to query and surface insights from their Ply data (inventory usage, reports, etc.) without needing to manually pull reports. Current Workaround: The client can use the Ply Public API ($99/month) with an API key to connect with Claude, but this requires technical setup and is not a native integration. Request: Build a dedicated Ply MCP server that allows Claude to natively communicate with Ply data.

  12. Instance-Wide Truck Audit Against Templates (Anomaly Detection)

Problem: Thereโ€™s no simple way to audit every truck in an instance against its assigned template to find deviations. Managers have to review trucks one by one to spot unapproved items or quantity problems. Current Behavior: Anomaly detection is available, but it canโ€™t audit trucks against their assigned templates across the entire instance. Requested Behavior: Extend anomaly detection to compare every truck in the instance to its assigned template and surface deviations, including: Items on a truck that arenโ€™t part of its approved template Quantities significantly above or outside the expected template quantity Other deviations from the truckโ€™s expected inventory configuration Ideally this would be a report or dashboard view that can be filtered by truck, template type, or deviation type. Business Impact: Lets customers quickly find and correct template deviations across the fleet. Paired with FR 2, Ply would both prevent unauthorized deviations and catch any that still happen, with the template as the approved standard.

  13. Bulk Select when Updating PO Line Items in Matching

Currently when you turn on the toggle for "Update purchase order items" in Matching, you have to individually select each item to accept the price update on the PO. Would be great if we could get a select all button there. Thanks

  14. Capture Additional Fees on PO (i.e. surcharges)

Currently the AI does not pick up additional fees on a PO like a surcharge and the total amount is off. It would be great if there were a way for it to both pick up additional surcharges on the PO, but also to manually add those in if need be similar to how you can add tax and shipping.

  15. Expose Movement Reporting in the Public API

Customers want to pull Movement Reporting data through the Public API so they can automate it on their own schedule, instead of manually exporting it from Reports > Movement Reporting. Today the Public API only covers four reports: Low Stock, Dead Shelf Analysis, Inventory Usage, and Variance. Movement Reporting is only available in the app. Requested capabilities: A Movement Reporting endpoint returning the same data as the in-app table: material name, item number, variation, location name/address FROM and TO, quantity, move reason, date, and client/business cost (per item + total). Filters for date range (start and end date), location, and move reason, matching the in-app filters. Pagination for large date ranges. Use case: the customer already has Public API keys set up and wants to pull movement data every hour for the previous and current month, to keep an up-to-date view of how materials move across locations. The Inventory Usage endpoint doesnโ€™t cover this since it doesnโ€™t include from/to locations, move reasons, or transfers.
